Dr. Koperski is a first-year ND resident at Bastyr University Clinic with a focus on treating the underlying cause using the foundations of naturopathic medicine, nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
Her clinical interests include family medicine, women’s health, chronic illness including autoimmune disease, and cancer.
Dr. Koperski focuses on determining and treating the underlying cause with natural therapeutics and empowering her patients by being an active part in their healing journey. She focuses on setting a strong foundation including diet and lifestyle, and supporting it with botanical medicine, physical medicine, as well as mind-body medicine. Dr. Koperski has a strong background in research and evidence based medicine, which she balances with a healthy dose of reconnecting patients to their bodies using dream interpretation.
Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Koperski engaged in research on statins and non-cardiac endpoints, particularly in regards to adverse effects, Gulf War illness, autism and aging.
Education & Affiliations:
Dr. Koperski received her doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in June 2016 as part of the inaugural class. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Koperski is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, the International College for Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.
