Rubaina Dang, ND, First-Year Resident



Dr. Dang is a first-year resident and clinical supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic with a strong interest in cardiometabolic conditions, gut health, and dermatology.  

Clinical Interests: 

Her specialties include diabetes, cardiovascular health, dermatology, gastrointestinal conditions, SIBO, hormonal imbalances, IV Therapy, and regenerative medicine. She holds advanced training in craniosacral therapy and PRP injections.

Healing Philosophy:

Meeting patients where they are at is the foundation of her practice. Dr. Dang likes to use an investigative approach, working alongside her patients to achieve positive health outcomes. She believes her patients have the tools to heal themselves and opts to use an integrative model in healing. With her empathetic spirit, she believes in the importance of empowering her patients and being an advocate for them on their journey.

Past Experience:

Dr. Dang has completed two years of primary care rotations at Bastyr University in Washington and in California. She spent the last year specializing in diabetes and cardiovascular health. Other rotations completed include IV therapy, emergency medicine, adjunctive oncology, and community medicine. Dr. Dang has conducted IRB approved research at the University of California San Diego on the impact meditation has on memory and cognition. She has spent years working in different research labs specializing in human development, psychology, and cognition.  

Education & Affiliations:

Dr. Dang received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. She is currently completing her medical residency at Bastyr University California. Dr. Dang received her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Dang is a contributing author to LearnSkin, an online integrative dermatology platform. She is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in California and speaks Spanish.
