Her therapeutic approach includes utilizing botanical medicine, homeopathy, along with nutrition and lifestyle counseling to strive for overall foundational wellness.
Healing Philosophy:
Holistic medicine is the art and science of healing that addresses the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. As a practitioner of holistic medicine, she strives to integrate conventional and alternative therapies to prevent and treat disease, and most importantly, to promote optimal health. She wants her patients to be partners in their own healing so she finds it important to utilize patient education to empower them about how incredible their minds and bodies really are, how each organ and symptom is part of a larger system so that they can take control of their health. She enjoys working in collaboration with other practitioners in an integrative team care setting.
Past Experience:
Dr. Greene began her physical medicine career as a massage therapist focusing on injury and pain management back in 2006. In 2011-2013 she was a massage therapist for Ballet San Jose and was an avid member of the sports council during her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, working with San Jose State Rugby and providing care at sporting events such as the Sea Otter Classic and Escape from Alcatraz, and volunteered as part of the Active Release Technique (ART) treatment team at Ironman World Championships in 2011.
She has been a substitute Clinician for Physical Medicine at Bastyr University Clinic since 2014, where she was also a naturopathic medical student while running a chiropractic practice. She completed her two years of general medicine clinical rotations at Bastyr University Clinic with a focus on women's health, gastroenterology, endocrinology, IV therapy, and pain management. She also completed several off-site rotations and has volunteered at community health clinics working with diverse populations.
Since graduating from Bastyr California, she has integrated naturopathic medicine into her chiropractic practice with a special focus on gastrointestinal concerns, endocrine/hormone balance and support, women’s health, ped's and pregnancy, regenerative injection therapies, and more to provide her patients with many tools for optimal healing.
