Heather Rilling, ND, First-Year Resident



Dr. Rilling is a first-year resident and clinical supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic. She connects deeply with the philosophies of food as medicine and the healing power of nature.

Clinical Interests:

She has a strong interest in women’s health, physical medicine, homeopathy, pediatric care, and fertility.

Healing Philosophy:

Health care should be a team effort. A patient and provider form a collaboration, working together on the path towards optimal health. Dr. Rilling strives to empower her patients with education and life tools so they have the confidence to take an active role in their healing journey.

Past Experience:

Dr. Rilling has completed two years of primary care rotations at Bastyr University in Washington and California. She has completed rotations specializing in women's health and pediatric care, adjunct cancer care, and autoimmunity. She has further training in craniosacral therapy, applied kinesiology, visceral manipulation, acute and chronic homeopathic prescription, IV therapy, and flower essences.

Education & Affiliations:

Dr. Rilling received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in San Diego, California. She is currently completing her medical residency at Bastyr University California. Dr. Rilling received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
