Genevieve Price, ND, practices naturopathic primary care at Bastyr University Clinic.
She helps patients address hormonal conditions such as thyroid and adrenal function, mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety, food and environmental allergies, autoimmune conditions, and overall chronic disease management. She employs fundamental naturopathic treatments such as individualized lifestyle recommendations, botanical medicine and nutritional supplementation, as well as specialty modalities such as craniosacral therapy, Ayurvedic medicine, and homeopathy.
Dr. Price believes in thoroughly investigating the root cause of an individual’s symptoms in order to remove maintaining causes of disease. She treats the whole person – mind, body, and spirit - using least invasive therapies first in order to minimize harmful side effects. She views herself as a partner on the healing journey, and educates her patients so that they can connect to the healer within themselves and achieve a constant state of balanced health.
She completed two years of general medicine clinical rotations at Bastyr University Clinic with focused clinical experience in treatment of hormonal imbalances, homeopathy for mental health, and craniosacral therapy, as well as a residency. In addition, she has completed internships in Integrative Endocrinology and Ayurvedic Medicine in California, homeopathy in Calcutta, India and general medicine in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. She is trained in massage therapy and has a background in neuroscience academic research using electroencephalography to study attention and motivation.
