Dr. Norton is the associate dean of clinical practices and an associate professor at Bastyr University California.
Her clinical interests include endocrine disorders (including thyroid disease and diabetes), cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, mental health issues, autoimmune disease, allergies, intestinal disorders, and women’s health.
She is certified in, and uses, First Line Therapy, a proven program that incorporates personal lifestyle medicine involving changes such as healthy nutrition, nutritional protocols, exercise, and stress management to prevent or reverse chronic disease. She also holds her IFM certification, the most comprehensive training available in functional medicine
Previously, Dr. Norton was a supervisor in the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine teaching clinic for 10 years, overseeing a variety of shifts including general naturopathic medicine, geriatrics, women’s health and community medicine.

Dr. Norton holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and a BS in biology from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. She also holds her certification in functional medicine (IFMCP) from The Institue for Functional Medicine
